Delivering Customer service both to passengers and business clients in a fast paced airport environment. Dealing with enquiries, providing digital media support and facilitating ticketing and sales transactions including excess baggage charges, lost property and flight ground transport and hotel sales. Both face to face physically and digitally.

Long Description
The Skybreak Assistant vacancy affords successful candidates the opportunity to join our established airport based team. To build skills from the ground up and to become qualified to provide passenger support delivering our full range of aviation services which include missed passenger assistance, ticketing and airport customer service. We are invested in the development of our people and operate a Skybreak academy with a dedicated in house trainer and training facility. Here, successful candidates can achieve not only their apprenticeship qualification but also a wealth of Airline knowledge and a portfolio of externally recognised Aviation industry skills. Which includes Airlines reservations and ticketing systems, GDS Amadeus, digital media and specialist Gatwick Airport knowledge. Our Apprenticeship Scheme is award winning and we are previous winners of the National Apprenticeship Awards.

Previous experience in the following is recognised as beneficial but not essential; Travel and Tourism and or Customer Service qualification and/or previous work experience in an industry where customer service has been required eg airport, retail, hospitality.

To qualify for the apprenticeship ideally candidates with have a pass in GCSE Maths and English
Training to be Provided
Apprenticeship As a key part of your role, you will undertake onsite lessons once a week at Crawley College working towards completion of the level Two Customer Service Apprenticeship. This is a full time opportunity for a duration of 12 months, with the other four days a week being spent doing 'on the job' training.
